A quarter with character

Welcome to Frankfurt and Gallus

Not far from Frankfurt's main station and the trade fair grounds, Bold Hotel Frankfurt Messe is located in the middle of Frankfurt-Gallus. The former working-class area, whose brick buildings have been blackened by soot, is now an ermerging district with a thriving cultural scene.

A multicultural place with character. And the perfect springboard for your city adventure in Mainhattan. You can reach the city centre within a few minutes and around the hotel you may discover the city off the beaten track on the streets of the newly developed Europaviertel.

Gallus is a place for the independent cultural scene. Popular cultural institutions around the Bold Hotel are the Gallus Theatre and the Frankfurt Lab. Also in the neighbourhood: Frankfurt's number one shopping address, the Skyline Plaza, with a spa & wellness centre, a rooftop garden with an instagramable view and a huge selection of shops.

Just a few minutes away in the polarising Bahnhofsviertel, night owls dance until dawn and foodies sample international specialities in the city's hippest restaurants. Some of the best addresses: Kokumy, Stanley Diamond and Club Michel.

A structure of wooden planks through which one looks at white housing complexes and a light green lawn
Platform of a terminus station, on the left people, stalls and more, on the right an empty track, next to it is an ICE train
Futuristic looking shopping mall with names of the shops and a big lettering saying "Skyline Plaza"
A historic house front made of sandstone and with gable roofs, to the right of which a covered bridge with windows leads off
Two men cross a street, on the right there is a historic building, on the left a round church with a tower, behind it high-rise buildings

Our favourite Go-to Spots in Frankfurt

Kokumy Frankfurt

Asian Fusion Kitchen

Kokumy

Every item on the menu, but to share, please! In the middle of Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel, you can enjoy authentic Asian fusion cuisine in a Japanese-influenced, minimalist ambience at Kokumy. And, as it is customary in Asia, dishes are served as sharing plates - family-style.

Our tip: the delicious business lunch served in the form of bowls and bao, only for you ;)

Feel the food

rashcook table

Genuine "Moroccan'n'roll crossover cuisine" in Frankfurt's Europaviertel. Rachid, aka rashcook serves delicious simplicity with oriental influences morning, noon and night. The taste explosions are always freshly prepared with a lot of passion and served as a way of life. If you want to enjoy food with all your senses, the rashcook table is perfect for you and very close to the Bold Frankfurt Messe.

Our tip: Monday is Veggie Day and Tuesday is Vegan Day! Absolutely good.

A long table with various wooden chairs, several pictures on the blue wall to the right, all illuminated by three pendant lamps above the table

Exclusive fine dining

Club Michel

The trendy restaurant with changing hosts and dishes behind an unremarkable façade in the middle of Frankfurt's station district is no longer an insider tip. We love the colourful crowd and being surprised over and over again. In addition, the informal charm of the interior and the team make the supper club a place where you have the feeling of being a guest at a friend's house.

Sharing is sexy

Stanley Diamond

Upscale home cooking combined with Frankfurt’s nonchalance: at Stanley Diamond, newly interpreted classic dishes are served in a stylish environment by casual waiters in sneakers. The main protagonist is fish and the menu is inviting you to mix and match to your taste.

A long, wooden bar with black stools in front of it, a colourful oriental carpet and lots of accessories

Fancy cocktails & flea market flair

Hunky Dory

In one of our favourite bars, orders are placed using old dial telephones. Apart from their very own delicious creations, classic Olde Worlde cocktails are served here, too. In summer, it is worth visiting the 150m² roof terrace featuring incredible views.

Make sure to try one of the "Cocktails on tap" from the barrel!

Comfortable informality

Ebbelwoi Unser

Not quite central, but our favourite when it comes to Hessian home cooking. In Alt-Sachenhausen you can indulge yourself here with delicious green sauce, Handkäs' mit Musik, Frankfurter Schnitzel and Appelränzchen in true Hessian style. To wash the delicacies all down, there's the locally famous "Stöffche", the apple wine or Ebbelwoi. And always the principle: regional at its best! Cheers.

Our tip: at the end, as a digestif, a little Mispelchen simply belongs to it.

Genuinely Fair fashion

glore

A multi-label concept in the sense of sustainability. At first glance, the concept of the store is based on design; in the background, each label is carefully selected and checked to see if it can be included in the assortment based on very strict criteria. At glore you will only find socially justly produced, environmentally friendly, sustainable and vegan fashion for women and men.

MMK Frankfurt

For the art lovers

MMK – Museum of Modern Art

Opened in 1991, the Museum of Modern Art is one of Frankfurt's newest museums and also one of the most important museums of contemporary art in Europe. It is one of the classics of a Frankfurt trip and is worth seeing. The building in which the museum is located is worth a visit in itself.
