At Bold, we believe that strong teams require diversity. We also believe that real strength is created when everyone has the same opportunities to fulfil their potential. It goes without saying, therefore, that women at Bold have a say and help to shape the company. In central management positions. They have a clear voice and real influence.
From hotel managers and team leaders to strategists, hosts and visionaries, our Bold Women lead with empathy and assertiveness, offering creative ideas and a clear focus. They create spaces for guests, teams and development. Spaces in which people feel comfortable and can grow and surpass themselves.
We actively promote female leadership. It's not just a buzzword for us — we believe in it and live it every day. We know from experience how much companies benefit from mixed management teams. Different perspectives, backgrounds and experiences strengthen our company.
For us, flexible structures, individual development opportunities and an open corporate culture are not extras, but a matter of course.
Create role models. Provide opportunities. Encourage them.
Our Bold Women are leaders and role models. For their colleagues. For the next generation. They are role models for everyone who believes that equality is not something to be discussed, but something to be achieved. True equality can never be a one-sided concept, so we have made it our mission to create an inclusive, diverse, values-driven working environment. This is an environment that gives women and all team members the chance to fulfil their potential and succeed in tomorrow's hotel industry. We give opportunities. Encouraging.
Are equal pay, equal rights and real career opportunities also on your agenda? Then become part of the team!

„My message to the next generation of female leaders is this: Make your voice heard when it matters. Make it clear when something is important to you. Be friendly without belittling yourself. Show interest and curiosity, embrace new experiences, and, above all, be emotional, warm and genuine — these are your strengths, not weaknesses. Support each other, because together, we can achieve more than we realise."

My name is Yvonne and I am the Executive General Manager of Bold Hotels & Campus, as well as a hostess and team leader. I do it all with all my heart and real passion.
To me, leadership means
Taking responsibility, especially for people rather than just numbers and processes. I want to support, challenge and encourage my team, bearing in mind that we are all human beings with emotions, strengths, weaknesses and individual potential. To me, leadership means:
How do I live this in everyday life?
I listen. I observe. I address things openly. I love developing ideas together and creating spaces where people can express themselves genuinely, courageously and creatively. I want people to feel not only welcome, but also seen, heard and taken seriously here.
My path – my challenges:
As a woman in management, I have experienced what many women are familiar with:
Much of it is subtle — it isn't spoken about, but it can be felt in people's behaviour. Yes, change is happening, particularly among the younger generation. A new awareness is emerging, but we have not quite got there yet. I have learnt to use my voice, to seek out allies, and, above all, to stand my ground.
What makes women strong leaders?
Women often have a high level of emotional intelligence. We listen carefully, read between the lines and think in terms of relationships rather than structures. We connect, organise, and support each other. We lead with both heart and mind, which is exactly what is needed today more than ever.
My message to the next generation of female leaders:
Make your voice heard when it matters. Make it clear when something is important to you. Be friendly without belittling yourself. Show interest and curiosity in new things, and above all, be emotional, warm and genuine — these are your strengths, not weaknesses. Support each other, because together, we can achieve more than we realise.

My name is Julia and I am the Deputy Director at one of our Bold hotels. My role involves coordinating the hotel's operations, leading the team, and collaborating with management to ensure our guests are delighted, not just satisfied.
To me, leadership means
Leading by example. This involves demonstrating values such as reliability, respect and clarity, while also creating an environment in which employees can grow and develop.
How do I live this in everyday life?
I have a close relationship with my team, whether they work in reception, Conventions Sales or Service. I listen, support, encourage and challenge. My goal is to provide clarity, build trust and find solutions with the team every day.
My path - my challenges
In the hotel industry in particular, leadership is often equated with rigour and assertiveness — qualities that are sometimes perceived differently in women. I had to learn to recognise the strength in my own leadership style. I overcame this challenge by staying true to myself. I sought feedback, learnt from role models and continued to develop my knowledge and attitude. At the same time, I have learnt to set clear boundaries and make assertive decisions.
What makes women strong leaders?
Women often have a high degree of empathy, strong communication skills and organisational ability, which are all decisive factors in everyday hotel life. We have a good understanding of situations and people, enabling us to lead in a very authentic way.
Your message to the next generation of female leaders:
Believe in yourself, even if others don't immediately. You don't have to be louder than everyone else; just be clear, courageous and genuine. Seek support and build your network, and remember that you are allowed to take up space. Leadership needs diversity — and you!

My name is Isabelle, and I develop the Bold Campus together with our great team. To me, the campus is so much more than just a place. It's a place for genuine encounters, personal growth and exceptional teamwork. Together, we create memorable experiences, inspiring events and sustainable concepts, as well as a team culture that prioritises trust, responsibility and cohesion.
To me, leadership means
Taking responsibility: for the team, for decisions, and for the bigger picture. It's about creating an environment in which others can flourish, discover their strengths, and embrace responsibility. To me, good leadership means providing guidance, building trust, and having the courage to speak plainly when necessary.
How do I live this in everyday life?
I have a close relationship with my team. I always seek personal dialogue, listen to others, provide honest feedback and set clear expectations. It is important to me that we learn and develop together. While challenges are part of the job, they also offer opportunities to surpass yourself. I myself learn something new every day because, for me, leadership also means remaining open-minded, reflecting and thinking ahead.
My path - my challenges
Of course, there are situations in which women are more likely to be scrutinised or underestimated. Leadership is often associated with certain expectations. However, it is precisely in these situations that I have learnt to find my own style. I don't need to change who I am to be effective. My strength lies in taking a different approach, remaining empathetic, and making clear decisions. I have remained consistent, exchanged ideas with other strong women, utilised networks, and above all believed in my own path. I have learnt not to let myself become unsettled, but to focus on my strengths. Humour really helps, too. Not taking everything so seriously can be really liberating.
What makes women strong leaders?
They have empathy, strong communication skills, flexibility, and the talent to manage difficult situations with tact and sensitivity. Women often have a high level of emotional intelligence, which they can apply to their leadership role. This allows them to lead teams effectively while maintaining focus on their goals.
My message to the next generation of female leaders:
Have the courage to embrace your own leadership style. Don't allow yourself to fall back into old patterns. Your strength lies in your personality, clarity of thought, and ability to inspire others. Network, support each other, and stay brave, even when things get tough. Change happens where people have the courage to forge new paths and confidently embrace their own style.

My name is Andrea, Director Marketing at Bold - and together with my team I am responsible for everything that makes our brand visible, tangible and relevant.
For me, leadership means
Creating spaces in which others can grow, both professionally and personally. This requires trust, empathy and clarity of attitude. I practise these values in my everyday life through open communication, honest feedback and genuine trust, both at work and at home. My two daughters are already coming into contact with traditional role models and issues of equality at school and on work placements. We talk about these issues, and I try to show them that, as women, they can forge their own path with courage, heart and attitude. You don't have to be able to do everything; you just need to stand up for what's important to you.
My path - my challenges
Of course, there have been, and sometimes still are, situations in which I have had to explain myself more, or assert myself more, due to unspoken expectations, old thought patterns and a lack of role models. I have learnt to say no sometimes — to speak up without claiming to be perfect. Sometimes that's easier and sometimes it's harder. :-)
What makes women strong leaders?
Strong leadership requires empathy, trust, and the ability to bring out the best in others — qualities that many women possess naturally. Women often lead holistically: they see people, listen to them and promote their potential. This is exactly what modern leadership needs. It's also important to recognise that women and men are different, and that balance is key. New perspectives. It's about genuine togetherness. I firmly believe that this is the key, and that we can all work together to initiate a rethink.
My message to the next generation of female leaders:
Believe in yourself, even when you don't know everything or feel insecure. You are allowed to make mistakes and grow from them. Stand up for yourself! Be courageous, friendly, and passionate about what you do.

My name is Eileen, and I have been running the Spruce Bar at the Bold Campus since 2022.
For me, leadership means
To remain professional in stressful situations, keep a cool head, and lead my team safely through challenges. I believe that open communication and involving all employees are key to good leadership. I want everyone to feel seen, heard and valued.
My path - my challenges
Challenges? They are all part of the job, but I tackle them with composure and empathy, using my charming, calm manner.
My message to future female leaders:
Stay calm. Listen. Empathise. Above all, practise your profession with passion and identify with what you do — that's what makes all the difference.
